Our Financials
The Group financial statements were prepared as per Bhutan Accounting Standards and presented based on the audited financial statements of the Group for the financial year ending 31st December 2023.
The Group Financials for DHI are consolidation of financial information of DHI and its 22 subsidiaries. All the intragroup transactions (i.e. revenue, expense, assets, liability, and equity) are eliminated and Group financials are presented as a single entity.
When a DHI has control over a subsidiary (typically through owning more than 50% of the voting shares), it consolidates the subsidiary’s financials into its own financial statements-meaning parent company includes 100% of the subsidiary’s revenues, expenses, assets, and liabilities in its financial statements, regardless of the percentage of ownership.
The financials of Associates and Joint Venture are not consolidated in the Group Financials. Instead, DHI's proportionate share of the profits/losses of these associates are taken into the Group profits in accordance with Bhutan Accounting standards (i.e., equity method).
