Druk Green Power Corporation Limited (DGPCL) is an electricity utility company that operates and maintains hydropower assets of Bhutan.

Achievements

» Took over the 720 MW Mangdechhu project on December 27 with full responsibility for the operation and maintenance of the plant.

 

» Took over the Embedded Generation assets of BPC in June comprising of 17 operational mini/micro hydropower plants, 7 decommissioned mini/micro hydropower plants, one small solar farm and one wind plant with two windmills with an aggregate generating capacity of 9 MW.

 

» Completed the feasibility studies and civil work awarded for the three Phase I small hydro projects (54 MW Burgangchhu under Zhemgang, 32 MW Yungichhu in Lhuentse and 18 MW Suchhu in Haa).

 

» Upgraded and/or introduced the Employee Appraisal system, SAP Warehouse system, Team Appraisal system, eDGPC App, eRecruitment and selection system, internal audit system, and online learning.
